An Ancient Wine - Grechetto di Todi Wine
Todi is a small town in the Umbria region of Italy. Very popular for an ancient wine called Gredhetto di Todi. This wine goes back to the 1st century BC. Grechetto wine is a dry white wine with a lightly bitter aftertaste. In 2009 , the wine received the important DOC recognition.
Grechetto is an elegant wine and pairs in style with antipasti, pasta dishes, roast chicken and white meats.
A recipe which is simple and delicious and ideal for Summer barbecues or grilling and perfectly pairs with Grechetto is Herb Grilled Chicken.
