Water - Your Travel Companion Why?
When you are traveling it's important to stay hydrated therefore water is your number one travel companion.
The worst thing you can do while traveling is allowing yourself to get dehydrated. A few days before traveling it is also important to hydrate therefore drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. While in flight drink lots of water and it's also beneficial to drink herbal teas and avoid caffeine and alcohol. It's also important to avoid salty foods.
Water itself helps your skin stay hydrated so drinking plenty of water will help maintain your skin's moisture, which during a flight your skin tends to dry and become flaky. During mid flight if you feel the need to wash your face, wipes would be ideal to cleanse your face instead of washing it with water, no one wants to put airplane water on their skin. Keeping low moisture on your skin is important during high altitude, this is the reason wipes are perfect. The day you plan to travel, it would be ideal to exfoliate your skin, to remove flakes of dead skin and then moisturize your face and body and finally apply eye cream.
